PRE-APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM

A program which provides initial training in a particular industry or occupation. Successful completion of the program can assist participants in obtaining an apprenticeship or traineeship, and may enable the term of the apprentice's training agreement to be reduced.
Current pre-apprenticeship programs in the Fresno County area are limited to participants of the Fresno County Workforce Investment Board (FCWIB) youth services.
